CHARACTER DESIGN

Original characters for a story I was writing. This was also the time I first began experimenting with digital painting. At this point I was drawing with graphite, then scanning the images and coloring them in Photoshop using the mouse (I didn't own a drawing tablet yet).

VETERANS MEMORIAL

I was commissioned to create a promotional rendering of this monument for publication in a local newspaper.



Construction on it had not yet begun; I was given the 2D blueprints, and tasked with translating the schematics into an illustration. The memorial was constructed in St. Germain, Wisconsin.
